Frigerio backstage: the architecture of Palazzo della Moda di Torino

The "Italian Rationalism" backstage at Frigerio. The architecture of the Palazzo della Moda in Torino Esposizioni, designed by Ettore Sottsass senior and Pier Luigi Nervi, meets the design of the Frigerio collection Listed by the Getty Foundation as one of the masterpieces of 20th century architecture, Torino Esposizioni, the fashion palace, was chosen as the ideal - and unconventional - setting for the new Frigerio collection from which the backstage video was born. Designed by Ettore Sottsass senior in 1938 with the collaboration of Pier Luigi Nervi, the building is characterized by a large pavilion vault, supported by four corrugated concrete arches.
